Join us in pioneering the future of space exploration!Key ResponsibilitiesSystem Architecture & DesignDevelop the architecture of the Electrical Power System by collaborating closely with system engineering and adhering to mission specifications.Determine the sizing and specifications for solar arrays, batteries, and power conditioning/distribution units.Optimize power generation, storage, and distribution strategies for all mission phases and potential failure scenarios.Component Selection & SpecificationAssess and select flight-qualified components such as solar cells, battery configurations, and power conversion elements.Assist in designing power conditioning and distribution units.Create comprehensive technical specifications.Analysis & SimulationPerform worst-case scenario assessments, reliability studies, and redundancy analyses in accordance with ECSS/NASA standards.Integration & TestingEstablish and implement verification and validation plans for the Electrical Power System (unit, subsystem, and system levels).Facilitate the integration of the Electrical Power System with other spacecraft subsystems.Engage in environmental testing, including vibration, thermal vacuum, and EMC.Project & Supplier CoordinationCoordinate with suppliers for COTS components and collaborate with internal teams on in-house developed power system components.Assist in project development logic, planning, risk assessment, and technical reviews (PDR, CDR, TRR).Documentation & Standards ComplianceGenerate detailed documentation covering design, analysis, test procedures, and compliance reports.Ensure alignment with space-grade standards (NASA-STD, ECSS).Actively contribute to customer reviews and certification processes.
