Role overview The Staff Software Engineer for the AI Developer Platform plays a key role in shaping how Scribd approaches software development in an AI-first environment. This position sets the technical direction for the agentic engineering platform, guiding hundreds of engineers as they use coding agents to write, review, and deploy code across Scribd’s technology stack. The role also focuses on improving the development environment to enable effective collaboration between AI agents and human engineers.
