Qualifications
Minimum of 8 years of proven experience in data engineering. Experience with media-centric data platforms such as content management systems, ad tech, and digital media analytics tools. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala for data processing tasks. Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and cloud data warehouses (e.g., Redshift, Snowflake, Databricks). Expertise in SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, BigQuery, etc.) and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka). Strong experience in designing and constructing complex, high-performance data systems, including data lakes, data warehouses, and real-time data pipelines. Demonstrated ability to manage and develop a growing team of data engineers, offering both technical direction and career advancement support. Excellent interpersonal skills for collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders. Familiarity with data governance and compliance standards.

- Design, implement, and maintain scalable data architectures and pipelines across various internal, third-party, and cloud sources.
- Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of data across diverse platforms.
- Collaborate with data scientists and business units to enhance data models that support business intelligence tools, enhancing data accessibility and encouraging data-driven decision-making organization-wide.
- Implement data engineering best practices, including performance optimization, monitoring, and thorough documentation.
- Assess and integrate emerging technologies to enhance data engineering functions.

- Contribute to the strategic planning and execution of data initiatives aligned with corporate objectives.
- Assist the Sr. Director of Data Engineering in executing the overarching data strategy and roadmap.
