Our US retail practice collaborates with leading retailers across North America, revolutionizing their operations through tailored analytical products designed for retailers and consumer packaged goods companies, alongside customized consulting projects. As the Director of Insights & Analytics, you will spearhead a dynamic team of data scientists and consultants embedded directly with one of our major retail clients, delivering impactful customer analytics and AI-driven insights that propel measurable business outcomes in areas like assortment, space, and pricing optimization.
How will you make an impact?
- Strategic Leadership: Cultivate senior-level relationships within the client's organization, establishing trust as a strategic partner who comprehends their planning cycles, constraints, and decision-making frameworks.
- Insight-to-Action: Guide your team in translating insights seamlessly from analysis to actionable business applications, motivating commitment to implement changes that yield significant commercial benefits.
- Pattern Recognition: Proactively detect patterns within ad hoc merchant requests and propose strategic initiatives that resolve core business challenges, leveraging AI-powered analytics capabilities.
- Value Pool Discovery: Identify and define quick-win analytics that showcase value pools for prospective 6-12 month data science and AI initiatives focused on macro space, assortment, and pricing optimization.
- Team Leadership: Oversee dedicated onsite (US) and offshore (India) data scientists and consultants, balancing immediate tactical demands with long-term strategic value discovery while enhancing team capabilities.
- Change Management: Champion initiatives that integrate insights and AI-driven recommendations into established merchant workflows and decision-making processes, ensuring analytical outputs translate into measurable business results.
