About the job
About Us:
At Zealthy, we strive to democratize healthcare, ensuring that high-quality medical services are accessible to everyone, regardless of their location. Our aim is to create the largest and most reliable virtual healthcare platform, revolutionizing the delivery of care so that anyone, anywhere can receive the healthcare they deserve.
Founded by a visionary healthcare entrepreneur with a demonstrated history of success, including scaling a previous venture to a $5 billion valuation, Zealthy is well-positioned for sustainable growth as we rapidly pursue our ambitious goals. Our relentless dedication to quality and accessibility is the cornerstone of our operations.
Our team is passionately committed to serving our patients. While we maintain a Monday to Friday office culture that occasionally extends beyond standard hours, the true fulfillment comes from the difference we make in people's lives. Each team member plays a crucial role in building something extraordinary. As a full-time member, you will not only influence the future of healthcare but also share in our success through equity ownership, as we believe every contributor should be both a literal and figurative stakeholder in our mission.
If you are ready to fully commit to your role and contribute towards building the world’s largest and highest-quality telemedicine service by working in-person four days a week, we encourage you to apply.
The Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Full Stack Developer to join our team full-time. This role is strictly in-person, based in New York, NY. If you are looking for remote or hybrid opportunities, this position may not align with your needs.
What You'll Do:
- As a Full Stack Software Engineer at Zealthy, you will collaborate with a team of five full-time engineers and work closely with our Founder/CEO, who oversees product development. Your initial focus will be on iterating and enhancing our early product build to ensure it is prepared for scaling and transforming access to top-notch healthcare.
- You will engage in daily standup meetings, weekly sprint meetings (or a flexible Kanban approach), holding yourself accountable to an ambitious product development roadmap.
- In our early-stage startup environment, you may need to wear multiple hats, involving work across both front-end and back-end development, as well as potentially participating in or leading decisions regarding system architecture or DevOps.
- As the organization grows, you will have the opportunity to evolve into a leadership position, contingent on your performance and aspirations to lead. This discussion will evolve organically between you and the current leadership team.
