About the Role Bluefish is on the lookout for an outstanding Strategy & Operations Manager to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role as part of the Chief of Staff's team, you will spearhead strategic and operational initiatives that will drive the growth and scalability of our early-stage organization, all while gaining invaluable visibility and ownership that will propel your career forward. Your Responsibilities Act as a vital link between various functions (product, finance, go-to-market, and HR), identifying gaps, aligning teams, and ensuring critical initiatives remain on course. Lead the end-to-end execution of strategic projects: defining scopes, conducting analyses, crafting recommendations, and overseeing the decision-making and implementation processes. Develop analytical frameworks and quantitative models that guide the company's key decisions. Prepare high-impact materials for executive, board, and investor meetings, simplifying complex topics into clear and engaging narratives. Manage the operational cadence of the Chief of Staff function, which includes leadership team meetings, strategic planning cycles, and quarterly objectives. Take ownership of special projects with a sense of urgency, often navigating ambiguous and fast-paced environments. Qualifications 5+ years of professional experience in strategy consulting (at a top-tier firm), investment banking, or an internal strategy or operations role at a high-growth company. Exceptional quantitative and analytical skills to convert data into actionable insights. Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel; capable of creating polished, executive-level presentations and intricate models. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable interacting with C-suite executives directly. Proven track record of managing cross-functional initiatives without formal authority and building trust among diverse teams. Highly resourceful, self-motivated, and able to thrive in any area of the business. Ability to flourish in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, with comfort in working within a small team. Willingness to operate at any level and tackle whatever challenges the business presents. Experience with early-stage companies is preferred. Proficiency in AI tools, with practical experience in leveraging them for operational enhancement is a plus.
