The Role
We are seeking a Frontend Infrastructure Engineer to create the tools and systems that will enhance the productivity of our frontend engineers. Your primary users will be internal engineers rather than end customers; you will focus on developing design systems, developer tooling, and foundational abstractions that empower the rest of the engineering team.
This position is distinct from product engineering roles that focus on delivering features directly to customers. You will engage in frontend API design, ensure code quality infrastructure, and construct reusable components that provide a superior user experience. If you have experience on a design systems team, frontend platform team, or developer experience team in a larger organization, this role will resonate with you.
