Job Description:
The Maintenance Planner/Scheduler plays a pivotal role in the maintenance operations at HelloFresh and its associated brands. This position involves meticulously reviewing work requests, assessing project scope, allocating necessary resources, and collaborating with various teams to schedule maintenance tasks. The goal is to minimize costly downtimes and interruptions in business operations while optimizing labor and material resources. Regular reviews of asset metadata and the creation of comprehensive job plans are essential to maintaining accurate systems and ensuring strong data integrity. This role requires close collaboration with maintenance site, regional, and organizational leadership to ensure seamless maintenance operations. The ideal candidate will embody the HelloFresh ethos and contribute to enhancing our workforce and processes in alignment with our core values.
Your Responsibilities Include:
- Forecasting preventive maintenance work and effectively balancing daily workloads based on available labor and materials.
- Reviewing incoming maintenance requests and, with assistance from site technicians and management, determining the criticality, scope, and required resources.
- Evaluating equipment and/or request scope, documenting clear and detailed job plans outlining all requirements to complete the tasks efficiently.
- Assessing safety hazards and PPE requirements to ensure the safety of maintenance staff and building associates.
- Estimating necessary labor, materials, and tools, ensuring availability prior to scheduling, including compiling relevant documentation (drawings, manuals, etc.) as part of the job package.
- Collaborating with technicians and site maintenance management when needed.
- Working with the site inventory specialist or leadership to ensure that required parts are prepped and booked against the appropriate work requests before scheduling.
- Communicating with site operations and maintenance leadership to schedule work effectively, keeping all relevant parties informed about timelines and necessary adjustments.
- Regularly reviewing and reporting work backlog to management to drive timely completion of work requests and predictive/preventive maintenance tasks.
- Analyzing downtime data and potential warranty issues, escalating concerns to site maintenance leadership and inventory specialists as required.
