Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the efficiency, security, and scalability of our organization's network infrastructure, thereby providing reliable connectivity and supporting daily network operations.Position Type: Full-TimeSalary: $70,000 - $75,000 annually (commensurate with experience)Work Location: Full-Time onsiteWork Schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday to FridayKey Responsibilities:Network Management: Oversee and maintain the organization's LAN infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime through configuration, installation, and support of Cisco networking hardware and software.Configuration and Setup: Configure and deploy Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, access points, and additional network devices to establish a secure, high-performing LAN environment.Network Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve network issues (hardware, software, connectivity) by analyzing logs, running diagnostics, and implementing necessary fixes to sustain network performance and availability.Network Optimization: Monitor network performance with management tools and proactively execute optimization measures to ensure speed, reliability, and scalability, while suggesting improvements for network efficiency.Security Management: Implement and manage security policies and access control lists (ACLs) to safeguard the integrity of the LAN.Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, topologies, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for future reference.Collaboration: Work closely with IT staff, system administrators, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of network systems and support the broader technology infrastructure of the organization.Upgrades and Maintenance: Plan, schedule, and execute network hardware/software upgrades and routine maintenance tasks to ensure the continued smooth operation of the LAN.Other duties as assigned.Physical Requirements:Ability to work in an office environment, which may involve occasional lifting of networking equipment.Some on-call availability may be required for emergency network issues.
