Foster motivation and development to enhance team performance.• Cultivate an open and collaborative environment where team members feel empowered to discuss challenges and solutions without compromising their decision-making autonomy.• Build strong relationships with employees, vendors, government representatives, and the local community, reinforcing SI Group’s reputation as a trustworthy and responsible organization.• Design and implement a comprehensive training and skills verification program to ensure all staff are proficient in EHS practices.• Act as a facilitator for training sessions using platforms such as Training Mine.Regulatory Compliance:• Prepare and submit regulatory permit applications, amendments, and reports, ensuring all permits are current and conditions are met.• Generate and submit timely environmental reports to TDEC and/or EPA, including annual, semi-annual, monthly, weekly, and daily reports.• Conduct fugitive VOC emissions calculations and manage RCRA LDAR compliance.• Investigate and report on environmental incidents, spills, and excursions per regulatory and internal guidelines.• Coordinate waste disposal and ensure meticulous documentation and recordkeeping in alignment with regulations.• Serve as the Management Representative for the RC14001 Responsible Care Management System.Health and Safety Compliance:• Develop and implement safe work procedures to maintain a healthy work environment.• Create and oversee training programs for employees and contractors to meet regulatory requirements and departmental needs.• Manage an effective Industrial Hygiene program and provide support for Process Safety Management compliance.General Responsibilities:• Maintain a culture of safety and health across the facility, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory standards.
