This position operates under general supervision and may require occasional duties at other Thorlabs locations.Key Responsibilities Include:• Daily purchasing activities, including expediting and data management.• Daily planning tasks such as scheduling and date management.• Calculating product availability and lead times.• Initiating and participating in purchasing improvement and cost-saving initiatives.• Generating special and periodic reports as needed.• Managing inventory control and planning (including safety stock and order sizes).• Reviewing documentation and data as necessary.• Monitoring company back orders to ensure timely fulfillment.All staff members are expected to meet company standards for quality and quantity of work, adhering to all policies and procedures. Physical activities may include standing or sitting for prolonged periods, performing repetitive tasks, and lifting or moving objects up to 20 pounds. What you will do Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair cooling systems, including installing or replacing components as needed. Conduct performance checks and routine maintenance on HVAC equipment. Handle additional maintenance or upgrades to HVAC systems during off-season periods. Respond to service calls promptly, including emergency situations. Complete daily work reports accurately and submit them on time. Operate and maintain a motor vehicle in compliance with Pearce Services policies and insurance requirements. Requirements Level 2 or Universal EPA Certification is required. Minimum of 3 years of HVAC maintenance experience, ideally in commercial environments. Basic understanding of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components, including refrigeration systems, is preferred. Note: Duties may be adjusted based on business or client needs.
