This position is part of the Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program (VTAP), aimed at empowering veterans to thrive in the automotive industry.Key Responsibilities: Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles, focusing on critical systems such as engine, transmission, steering, suspension, brakes, HVAC, and electrical components. Accurately complete repair orders and warranty requests while adhering to Kia and retailer policies. Conduct thorough test drives and utilize Kia diagnostic strategies along with specialized tools to evaluate and repair vehicle systems. Provide timely services and communicate effectively with the shop foreman and service advisor to enhance the customer experience. This opportunity is with independently owned Kia retailers. Possess a valid driver’s license from any state with a clean driving record. Prior experience in a technical or mechanical field is essential.
