Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated People Programs & Operations Specialist to develop and manage the essential people infrastructure that fuels Odyssey’s rapid expansion. In this role, you'll oversee the systems, processes, and programs that streamline the employee lifecycle—from onboarding and HRIS management to performance evaluations, compensation operations, and compliance—ensuring every interaction is reliable, scalable, and reflective of our commitment to our team.
This is an individual contributor position reporting directly to the Head of People. You will work autonomously while collaborating closely with leadership, finance, and various teams across the organization. The ideal candidate will be a systems-oriented thinker and a hands-on executor, adept at configuring HRIS workflows in the morning and crafting company-wide communications in the afternoon.
Your mission is to create processes that simplify complexities, introduce operational rigor without unnecessary bureaucracy, and prioritize the employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
- People Systems & Data
- Manage and maintain our HRIS (Rippling) and ATS (Ashby), ensuring data integrity, custom fields, permissions, reporting dashboards, and system optimizations.
- Develop and uphold people analytics and reporting to highlight workforce trends (headcount, turnover, diversity, compensation) for informed leadership decisions.
- Assess, implement, and manage integrations across the People tech stack (e.g., 15Five, Ashby, Rippling, Checkr, Oyster).
- Design automated workflows and AI tools to enhance scalability and elevate the employee experience.
- People Programs (Talent, Performance, Onboarding, Offboarding)
- Lead the end-to-end design and execution of the performance review cycle, encompassing self-assessments, peer reviews, manager assessments, and calibration.
