Context
The cybersecurity practice at Wavestone assists clients in implementing their Digital Identity transformation projects. Identity management is a crucial pillar in mastering cyber risks and a key element in executing a successful Zero Trust strategy.
Customer Identity & Access Management (CIAM) pertains to managing identities and access for users, whether they are individual customers or businesses utilizing digital and physical services (in-store or at agency locations).
At Wavestone and within its client organizations, CIAM projects aim to deeply overhaul end-user journeys to enhance user experience while ensuring a high level of data security for both the enterprise and its users.
CIAM helps better understand customers (Know Your Customer), offers a comprehensive omnichannel experience (digital and physical), and provides a 360° view of clients in a multi-brand context.
Wavestone's CIAM projects cover the entire value chain of digital transformation initiatives:
- Framing: supporting clients in defining use cases, user journeys, and requirements.
- Solution recommendations: leveraging our market knowledge to recommend the best-suited solution for client needs.
- Technical implementation & configuration: assisting in the deployment and setup of solutions, integrating new applications into the ecosystem.
- Solution renewal: defining target architectures to enhance existing setups while ensuring service continuity.
- Continuous improvements: developing features based on expressed business needs.
Objectives
The goal of this internship is to advance Wavestone's knowledge and expertise in CIAM-related topics. This includes:
• Formalizing insights on innovative topics or new standards.
• Analyzing emerging business challenges and new offerings in the CIAM solutions market.
• Gaining technological mastery over relevant tools.
Tasks
Under the guidance of a consultant and supervision by a manager, the intern may be involved in some or all of the following activities:
• Conducting studies on new challenges and approaches.
• Building benchmarks for CIAM functionalities across market solutions.
• Creating proofs of concept (PoCs) or mock-ups of market solutions.
• Developing accelerators.
