As a Senior Project Manager at Akuo, you will spearhead the structuring and pre-construction phases of renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, and battery energy storage systems (BESS), both in France and internationally. Your leadership will guide projects from securing Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) through to Financial Close and Final Investment Decision (FID).You will ensure seamless technical, contractual, financial, and organizational coordination, aligning with the Group’s performance, quality, and profitability objectives.1. Project Management ResponsibilitiesOversee the structuring and pre-construction phases of intricate projects, such as photovoltaic plants exceeding 50 MW, multi-site wind farms, and hybrid systems with storage solutions.Establish and manage critical milestones leading to investment decisions or potential project exits, based on comprehensive value and risk assessments.Supervise the preparation and validation of essential deliverables including PPAs, financial modeling, due diligence, insurance, and contracts.Ensure compliance with internal standards regarding cost, schedule, quality, and risk objectives.Facilitate a smooth transition to execution and construction teams post-structuring phase.2. Team Leadership and Project GovernanceLead and integrate multidisciplinary teams across finance, technical, legal, development, and health, safety, and environment (HSE).Implement Group processes, tools, and standards while proposing initiatives for continuous improvement.Conduct governance meetings for projects, including steering committees, weekly reviews, and presentations to decision-making bodies.Mentor and supervise junior or regional project managers, promoting knowledge sharing and lessons learned sessions.Contribute to the overall capacity building within the organization.3. Technical and Contractual CoordinationAssist in the selection and negotiation of key contracts such as EPC, O&M, PPAs, TSAs, LLAs, MSAs, and other supply agreements.Coordinate technical and contractual due diligence activities with both internal and external stakeholders.Structure insurance packages in accordance with internal standards and lender requirements.4. Financial Optimization and Performance MonitoringValidate economic assumptions (CAPEX, OPEX, yield, availability rate) in alignment with project objectives.Contribute to the formulation and validation of business plans and financial models.Create regular performance reports including risk and opportunity registers, financial KPIs, and project dashboards.Document and monitor key decisions, contract amendments, and action plans.5. Development and Strategic SupportSupport development and M&A teams during bidding, acquisition, or strategic partnership processes.Evaluate the technical and economic feasibility of early-stage projects, providing investment recommendations.Identify industrial opportunities and challenges to enhance project viability.
