Role Overview: Quality Control/Quality Assurance Chemical Technician This technician role centers on maintaining the quality and reliability of Formlabs products. The position involves developing standard operating procedures, supporting staff training, and working hands-on with both software and laboratory equipment. Expect to use Microsoft Office and operate tools such as calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments. Key Responsibilities Test finished goods and incoming materials and components, including those under ISO 13485 standards. Carry out in-process inspections to confirm compliance with quality requirements. Manage calibration of quality control equipment and vendor tools. Work with supervisors to create QC procedures for new products. Support quality control during scale-up of new products. Order supplies and materials for R&D, QC, and chemistry teams. Train R&D staff and QC technicians as needed. Periodically review operational procedures for ISO 13485 compliance. Improve and maintain quality procedures. Investigate and document quality issues. Assist with QMS activities, including equipment calibration, document control, CAPA, deviations, NCMR, internal audits, training, and other tasks assigned by supervision. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Chemistry. Knowledge of ISO Standards. Experience training others. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and clear communication. Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
