Job Responsibilities:As an MRI Coil Repair Technician, you will play a critical role in diagnosing and repairing GE and Siemens MRI RF coils, including head, spine, body, and extremity coils. Your expertise will be essential in performing electrical, mechanical, and RF troubleshooting on these coils.Additionally, you will test repaired coils to ensure they meet Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) performance standards, maintain precise service records, and collaborate effectively with MRI technologists and biomedical staff to minimize equipment downtime. You will also support preventive maintenance and manage inventory for coils.

We look forward to welcoming you to our team!KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Exhibit proficiency in performing tasks related to job responsibilities and departmental services for diverse customer populations.Following appropriate training, assist in patient positioning for MRI and/or CT examinations.Employ venipuncture techniques to support CT and MRI technicians as required.Familiarize yourself with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.Utilize experience and judgment to achieve defined goals.Perform various tasks to assist remote technologists effectively.Provide operational support to other staff and the site as necessary in daily imaging center activities.Assist in patient positioning during MRI for the ROCC team.Conduct patient screenings.Initiate IVs and administer contrast as needed.Document all patient information in the Radiology Information System (RIS).ADDITIONAL TASKS: This job description is meant to provide an overview of the responsibilities associated with this role.
