About the Role We are seeking a Hardware / Software QA Engineer to take charge of testing at the interface between our physical hardware and software systems. This unique hybrid QA position spans embedded devices, sensor systems, and software stacks. What You’ll Do Conduct hardware-software integration tests in our Pittsburgh lab, verifying sensor performance, firmware functionality, and complete data flow from physical devices to the software stack. Identify and categorize defects at the hardware-software interface — discerning between hardware faults, firmware bugs, driver issues, and application software errors — and communicate findings to engineering teams. Create and maintain hardware-software integration test suites, which include firmware validation, sensor calibration tests, and embedded release regression testing. Contribute to cross-platform test infrastructure enhancements.
