This position also assists with classroom instruction and independent living skills. The Skills Trainer will be responsible for learning various entry-level job skills within the Goodwill Donated Goods Retail network, collaborating with local businesses to enhance community engagement.Duties include but are not limited to:Deliver training on workplace techniques and social skills through task analysis and worksite activities.Provide educational, behavioral, and developmental support, utilizing assistive technology as needed.Foster natural supports in the workplace by implementing job modifications, including adaptive work illustrations tailored to individual needs.Guide individuals in establishing routines that encourage independence.Employ positive motivational strategies to help individuals achieve their goals.Compensation: $17.50 - $18.55 per hourRetention Bonus: $1,000 after 90 days of employment.Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. (flexible start and end times, 7.5-hour shifts).Travel: Some travel within Allegheny County may be necessary.
