Your primary responsibility will be to perform hands-on service work at customer locations, focusing on the installation of components and subassemblies, as well as basic commissioning of IEM equipment, primarily within data center or industrial settings. Responsibilities include:Participating in project meetings as necessary, coordinating with contractors and clients.Installation and modification of electrical and mechanical components and subassemblies including panelboard interiors, circuit breakers, bus bar, switchgear section doors, subpanels, and control components, along with power cabling and control wiring.Conducting basic testing of modified assemblies (visual inspections, ductor testing, etc.).Performing basic commissioning of switchboards, control panels, and power products.Troubleshooting electrical circuits and networking equipment.Collaborating with the Technical Project Manager or manufacturing facilities to resolve product or commissioning issues identified by IEM or reported by customers in the field, as well as identifying additional field resources for installation and replacement parts.Executing preventive maintenance, field installations, and modifications to existing equipment.Providing technical product support.Qualifications:A technical degree or equivalent, with 8+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, data center, or field service role, specifically in commissioning of LV/MV electrical switchgear (required for Level 3 candidates).Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.Capability to work independently without direct supervision is essential.
