Redwood Credit Union is seeking a full-time Member Relationship Specialist for its Point Arena, California branch. This position centers on delivering attentive service to members, supporting a range of account and loan needs, and acting as a representative of the Credit Union in daily interactions. What you will do Provide accurate, friendly service to members, volunteers, staff, and service providers. Open new accounts and help match members with the right Credit Union products. Cross-sell products and services from Redwood Credit Union and Redwood Community United Services Group. Assess member needs, recommend and process loan products, gather necessary documentation, and complete loan funding. Suggest additional services that may benefit members. Investigate and resolve member inquiries, issues, and complaints while maintaining confidentiality and protecting personal information. Maintain files for different account types and audit documents as needed. Perform teller transactions accurately and reconcile cash at the end of each day. Answer phone inquiries efficiently. Participate in branch, department, and company meetings. Assist with branch opening and closing procedures. Location This role is based in Point Arena, California. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for executing operational tasks, delivering outstanding member service, and driving the branch's success by promoting and referring Credit Union products. As a key representative of our organization, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional service to our members, community stakeholders, team members, and service providers.Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Service: Provide exemplary service to all members, volunteers, internal staff, and service providers. Cross-sell Redwood Credit Union and Redwood Credit Union Services Group products and services. Open accounts and align member needs with available products and services. Investigate member inquiries and respond appropriately, either verbally or in writing, or direct to relevant personnel or departments. Identify suitable loan products to fulfill member needs. Gather necessary information from members to facilitate loan applications; review and collect required loan documentation. Finalize the loan-funding process and recommend additional products or services to meet members' needs.Operations Management: Balance vaults and Cash Dispensing Machines (CDMs). Order, receive, and prepare cash shipments. Conduct regular branch audits on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis. Assist with scheduling branch staff. Supervise branch operations and staff in the absence of branch management. Act as a team lead for Member Relationship Specialists and Senior Member Relationship Specialists. Perform audits of Credit Union documentation and files. Execute branch opening and closing tasks. Support the Branch Experience Manager and/or Branch Service Manager with sales report preparation.Team Collaboration: Coordinate and oversee the work of other staff as necessary. Provide constructive feedback to branch management regarding Member Service Associates, Member Relationship Specialists, and Senior Member Relationship Specialists.
