Project Manager — Catalina Utilities & Infrastructure
Overview: We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a portfolio of 5–9 water, gas, and electric infrastructure projects located on the picturesque Catalina Island. This role requires a leader capable of managing project scope, timelines, budgets, permitting, construction execution, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the complete project lifecycle for multiple infrastructure initiatives, including defining project scope, creating detailed schedules, monitoring budgets, and ensuring deliverables meet quality standards.
- Actively contribute to project success by conducting or coordinating technical reviews, site assessments, change control processes, and contractor management.
- Identify potential challenges proactively and devise effective solutions; lead risk assessments and time-impact analyses.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, permitting, and regulatory requirements specific to island operations.
- Manage procurement and contractor selection processes adhering to organization-specific workflows.
- Foster robust communication with internal teams, external agencies, local stakeholders, contractors, and residents.
- Escalate non-project-related issues as needed and maintain clear project boundaries with third-party entities.
- Prepare and present regular project status reports, budget forecasts, and executive briefings.
