The Director of Commercial Analytics & Sales Force Excellence (Generics) serves as the primary leader for leveraging data to drive commercial success within the Generics product line. This key role encompasses oversight of demand and pricing analytics, customer insights, and the execution of Sales Force Excellence (SFE) initiatives, including target setting, incentive design, governance, territory alignment, account planning, and call planning. The Director collaborates extensively with Sales, Trade/Channel, Pricing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Compliance teams to optimize revenue, gross margin, service levels, and enhance salesforce productivity.Key Responsibilities:1) Sales Force Excellence (Approximately 50%)Territory & Coverage Design: Streamline territories based on volume and potential, conduct white-space analyses, and ensure equitable workload and travel efficiency.Call Planning: Set standards for account reach and frequency; implement dynamic call plans that align with product focus, supply status, and customer potential.Target Setting: Develop both top-down and bottom-up target methodologies that account for seasonality, pipeline factors, and supply considerations; ensure targets are realistic, fair, and aligned with financial objectives.Incentive Compensation Design & Governance: Create balanced scorecards encompassing metrics such as net sales, gross margin, new product adoption, and call activity/quality; manage payout modeling, regulatory compliance, and budget controls; disseminate IC policies and quarterly reconciliations.Account Planning: Standardize account plans (for GPOs, wholesalers, IDNs, and chains) with share-of-wallet goals, contracting strategies, service KPIs, and cross-functional action plans.CRM Excellence: Promote the adoption and maintenance of data integrity within Salesforce/Veeva, define pipeline stages, activity standards, and coaching insights for frontline leaders.Lead training initiatives and change management efforts for new SFE programs and analytics tools.2) Commercial & Pricing Analytics (Approximately 40%)Develop and maintain SKU-level forecasts (including launch, steady-state, and LOE/erosion curves), considering competition, channel mix, service levels, GPO and wholesaler dynamics, and supply constraints.Oversee price and margin analytics: analyze WAC versus net, chargebacks, rebates, admin fees, and pocket-price waterfalls; collaborate with Pricing to propose actions tailored to product/customer segments.Generate customer and market insights: perform segmentation and potential analyses (wholesalers, GPOs, chains, IDNs, hospitals), track market share, assess pipeline impacts, and evaluate competitive event scenarios.Manage commercial dashboards and KPI suites (covering revenue, gross margin, days of inventory on hand, service levels, forecast accuracy, and opportunity pipelines) utilizing Power BI/Tableau.
