We are currently seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join our Transportation Practice in a hybrid role based in our Providence, RI office. We also welcome applicants from the Greater Boston or Connecticut area. In this role, you will oversee the technical aspects of complex transportation projects, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations, budget, and timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the Technical Lead for the transportation components of intricate projects.
- Coordinate technical efforts across various design disciplines and with subconsultants.
- Lead the development of 3D roadway design models using AutoCAD Civil3D in compliance with RIDOT standards and workflows.
- Prepare and oversee plan sets, special provisions, and cost estimates for roadway design projects.
- Support Project Managers in planning, coordinating, and executing both large and small projects, ensuring compliance with project schedules and budgets by actively monitoring progress and identifying additional work outside the contractual scope.
- Contribute to the development of technical approaches, schedules, and fee estimates for proposals on large-scale and more complex projects.
