Role Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned engineer with substantial expertise in AI and exceptional leadership qualities. In this role, you will design and implement advanced AI products and AI Agents, lead a team of engineers, and oversee the execution of LLM-powered projects from inception to deployment.
This position merges practical AI/ML and LLM engineering with technical leadership—guiding backend, frontend, and full-stack developers to create robust and scalable production AI systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of developers, cultivating a collaborative and high-performing engineering culture.
- Define the technical vision, architecture, and strategy for LLM, AI Agent, and ML projects.
- Design and develop AI Agents, RAG pipelines (including multimodal RAG), LLM-based services, and evaluation frameworks.
- Oversee the design, development, and deployment of scalable AI/ML systems from conception through to production.
- Work closely with Product Managers, ML Engineers, and Data Scientists to translate business needs into AI-driven solutions.
- Manage the full software development lifecycle for your team, ensuring adherence to best engineering practices regarding coding, testing, quality, and reliability.
- Conduct in-depth technical reviews and offer guidance to uphold code quality standards.
- Address performance, scalability, and reliability challenges in production AI systems.
- Promote continuous improvement, automation, and innovation within the team.
- Keep the team informed of the latest advancements in LLMs, LLMOps, fine-tuning techniques, vector search, and generative AI.
Qualifications:
- 8–10 years of experience in software development.
- Over 5 years of practical experience in AI/ML.
- At least 2 years in an engineering leadership role, ideally leading a cross-functional team.
- Proven experience in developing:
- AI Agents / Agentic workflows
- LLM pipelines (inference, orchestration, guardrails)
- RAG systems (vector search, knowledge bases, multimodal RAG)
- LLM fine-tuning (SFT, LoRA, instruction tuning)
- LLMOps workflows (monitoring, evaluation, optimization, versioning)
- Strong grasp of ML algorithms and principles.
