The Plumber reports to the Assistant Manager of Fixed Assets and Maintenance and works closely with the Maintenance Planner. This job is covered by the agreement between REAL and the Saskatchewan Joint Board, Retail, Wholesale and Department Store Union. Main responsibilities Inspect plumbing fixtures and piping on a regular schedule Set up portable or temporary plumbing for special events and tradeshows Install, service, repair, and maintain both temporary and permanent plumbing systems Service and repair mobile and portable wash stations Clear clogs in floor drains, sinks, grease traps, toilets, and urinals Replace plumbing fixtures and related components as needed Maintain automated valves in potable water, reverse osmosis, and heating systems Assist with HVAC repairs and clean in-line filter screens in heating systems Take on additional duties as assigned, including non-standard plumbing tasks Work environment Most work is indoors, but some outdoor tasks are part of the job.
