We are excited to welcome a Junior Business Development Manager to our Rome team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a unique opportunity to be a founding member of a rapidly growing, well-funded company while collaborating with Italy's top-tier restaurants.
Your Responsibilities
As part of the Regional Sales team, reporting to the Sales Lead, you will represent Deliveroo in Rome, acting as a local expert who understands the tastes and preferences of our customers.
- Strategic Prospecting: Identify, engage, pitch, and secure new restaurant partnerships in Rome, using a methodical approach.
- Technology Advocacy: Utilize in-person visits, calls, emails, and social media to showcase the value of Deliveroo’s technology to local business owners.
- Partner Support: Serve as a consultant for restaurant owners and managers, helping them navigate barriers to entry and ensuring a seamless onboarding experience.
- Market Immersion: Stay ahead of the Roman food scene by participating in industry events and following emerging culinary trends.
- Negotiation: Manage commercial discussions to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes for our partners and Deliveroo.
