In this role, you will support the comprehensive lifecycle of product development, from initial concept and design through testing and production launch. Your contributions will be vital in designing and enhancing bath and sanitary ware products, focusing on fluid flow performance, reliability, and manufacturability. Collaboration will be key as you work with engineering, product marketing, suppliers, and manufacturing teams to launch innovative products and ensure that existing offerings meet performance, quality, and budgetary targets.Key Responsibilities:Conduct research and develop mechanical components and assemblies for bath and sanitary products.Employ CAD tools, preferably SolidWorks, to create detailed models, drawings, and specifications.Utilize Fluid Dynamics and Thermodynamics principles to enhance product performance.Apply Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) to analyze and optimize flow dynamics in valves and shower components.Design and construct test equipment and fixtures.Lead product validation initiatives, focusing on reliability, durability, and performance testing.Assess and validate products sourced from both domestic and international suppliers.Conduct experiments, analyze outcomes, and present findings to management.Address and resolve internal quality concerns.Collaborate closely with manufacturing and process engineering teams to ensure product readiness.Assist with new product introduction (NPI), encompassing mold development and production scaling.Diagnose production challenges and implement design enhancements.Approve designs prior to full-scale manufacturing.Generate and manage engineering documentation and technical drawings.Work in tandem with Product Management, Purchasing, Suppliers, and Engineering teams.Contribute to R&D initiatives, exploring new technologies and materials.Provide training and guidance to manufacturing personnel on product design and production processes.
