Role Overview
The Estimator / Parts Manager at NVD in Rosslare plays a key part in evaluating vehicle damage, estimating labor and parts costs, and working closely with technicians, insurance adjusters, and customers to ensure repairs move forward smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess damaged vehicles and determine repair needs.
- Prepare accurate and detailed repair estimates using Audatex and BDQ software.
- Discuss damage, repair options, and costs with customers.
- Coordinate with suppliers and technicians to support timely, cost-effective repairs.
- Monitor inventory and manage the flow of parts in and out of the facility.
- Check the accuracy and quality of incoming parts.
- Handle returns, warranties, and defective items as needed.
- Maintain thorough records for parts and repairs.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience as an Autobody Repair Estimator.
- Essential: Skilled with the Audatex estimating system.
- Experience with Autoflow bodyshop management is a plus, not required.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Comfortable managing shifting priorities.
- Valid Class B driving license.
