Join Our Team as a Youth Sports Coach in South San Francisco!Are you passionate about making a positive impact on young athletes? ANTS (America's Next Talented Stars) is looking for dedicated part-time coaches for our Volleyball, Soccer, and Basketball programs in South San Francisco. You don’t need prior coaching experience; we provide comprehensive training for all our coaches!As a Youth Soccer Coach, you will lead engaging after-school soccer programs designed to inspire children aged 5-10. Our upcoming season runs from September 9th to December 2025, and we require your commitment for the entire duration. Expect to dedicate around 6-8 hours per week, which will vary based on the number of classes you conduct.We equip you with all necessary training, equipment, and ongoing support. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your coaching skills while contributing to the community. Our partner schools and communities are situated throughout Oakland, Alameda, San Leandro, San Francisco, and Walnut Creek, with classes held in local parks, tennis courts, and elementary schools. Come be a part of our vibrant coaching team!Key Responsibilities:Lead enjoyable and safe weekly soccer practices for children aged 5-10.Teach fundamental soccer skills through engaging and game-focused lesson plans. Training will be provided!Ensure a reliable and safe program by arriving on time for each session throughout the season.Participate in in-person orientation training.Maintain positive interactions with parents, teachers, and school staff.Set up and clean up after each session.Class Locations:Our programs are hosted across various partner schools and community areas in South San Francisco and Daly City.Schedule:Classes typically run from 1:30 PM to 4:15 PM on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, with a consistent schedule each week. You must be available to coach at least one day each week in the afternoons. Additional hours may be available through other programs.Qualifications:Reliable Transportation: Coaches must possess dependable transportation to reach their coaching sites. You may need to transport equipment, so having a vehicle is advantageous.Professionalism: Arrive punctually for practices and maintain accurate attendance records. Interact positively with parents and school staff.Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for liaising with ANTS, parents, and site staff.Energetic and Supportive: ANTS coaches are role models, expected to embody positivity and enthusiasm for our students.
