The Role
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will take ownership of a vital subsystem within the Cosmic-1 platform, guiding its development from initial concept through to deployment. You will be a key contributor in shaping the future of autonomous construction.

Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of hardware components and systems, including primary and secondary structures, mechanisms, and enclosures.
Oversee the complete product lifecycle from requirements gathering, through trade studies, to detailed design, structural analysis, manufacturing, integration, testing, and customer delivery.
Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams including manufacturing, electrical, software, and product engineers to create innovative solutions for complex problems.
Engage with suppliers and vendors to devise inventive solutions within tight deadlines.
Establish project milestones, plan development roadmaps, and achieve ambitious delivery timelines.
Recruit, mentor, and cultivate a high-caliber engineering organization.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of professional engineering experience.
Strong foundational knowledge of statics, dynamics, heat transfer, materials science, and corrosion.
Proficiency in mechanical design using CAD software such as SolidWorks, NX, PTC Creo, etc.
