In your role as a Senior Staff Software Engineer on the Entity Management team, you will spearhead the technical development of an innovative product designed to alleviate compliance burdens for entrepreneurs, enabling them to focus on business growth without the stress of paperwork. Your responsibilities will include executing pivotal technical initiatives as outlined in the team roadmap, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, and mentoring other engineers. About the Team
The Entity Management team is dedicated to creating and maintaining tools that assist small businesses in navigating the entire lifecycle of their legal and compliance requirements, including incorporation. We support business owners from the initial step of incorporation throughout ongoing compliance, account monitoring, and even dissolution when necessary. Our mission is to simplify and automate these complex, time-consuming processes, allowing business owners to focus on growth without the worry of regulatory issues.
Here’s what you’ll do day-to-day:
- Implement the technical roadmap for the new product within your team’s scope, ensuring it aligns with overall business objectives and Entity Management goals.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Design, Customer Support, and Marketing, to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Mentor and support engineering team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Develop and refine the team’s software development processes and technical approaches to ensure efficient and effective project execution.
- Lead the implementation of new functionality, ensuring adherence to best practices in software development.
