WHO YOU ARE:
We are looking for a motivated Structures Engineer to become a vital part of our team. The ideal candidate possesses a solid understanding of structural design principles and is driven by a desire to tackle complex aerospace challenges. You are eager to apply your engineering knowledge and early career experience to tangible aircraft components while learning from a diverse group of seasoned engineers. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, analyzing, and testing advanced aerospace structures that enhance the performance and safety of our aircraft.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Assist in the design and analysis of composite and metallic structures for high-performance aircraft.
- Support the development of structural layouts and configurations under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Execute CAD modeling, create drawings, and perform basic structural analysis (including hand calculations and FEA).
- Participate in trade studies to balance performance, weight, cost, and manufacturability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (aero, propulsion, manufacturing, and testing) to establish and support structural requirements.
- Engage in design reviews, provide manufacturing support, and participate in testing activities.
- Document your work meticulously and maintain configuration control over designs and models.
- Learn from senior engineers to continually advance your technical expertise.
