You will:Lead the validation and approval of sensing and perception systems for deployment, prioritizing safety. Utilize your expertise in sensing and perception technologies and systems engineering principles to develop requirements. Facilitate agreement on these requirements with hardware, software, product, and safety teams, carefully balancing safety, business priorities, and engineering limitations. Assess and analyze system performance, either directly or by collaborating with testing engineering teams. Identify and evaluate performance discrepancies and provide data-driven recommendations for system enhancements and risk mitigation. Conduct system-level trade studies and assess future sensor architectures. You have:A Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics or a related technical discipline. An advanced degree or a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Familiarity with robotics, sensing, or perception technologies. Proven experience with systems engineering fundamentals including requirements definition, system design and architecture, trade studies, and verification and validation methods. Experience managing large, complex systems and navigating ambiguity with various stakeholders. Proficient in data analysis using Python or other relevant programming languages.
