We are in search of a Staff Product Manager, Platform to collaborate closely with our engineering leadership and help define the foundational platform that supports Homebase's expansion. This role is pivotal for our secure, reliable, and rapid growth.
You will take ownership of essential domains such as authentication, authorization, identity, and core business platform capabilities, ensuring they are robust, adaptable, and of the highest quality. This is a highly technical PM position, perfect for someone who enjoys working at the crossroads of product, engineering, and security, and who thrives amidst uncertainty while building for the future.
Your Key Contributions Will Include:
Co-managing the platform roadmap alongside engineering leadership for authentication, authorization, identity, and shared business capabilities, prioritizing immediate needs while considering long-term scalability, security, and developer efficiency.
Collaborating with Engineering and leadership to outline platform strategy, direction, and roadmap.
Working closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure that mission-critical systems scale effectively and satisfy company requirements.
Translating intricate technical concepts into clear product direction, requirements, success metrics, and implications for the customer experience.
Leading cross-departmental alignment across Product, Engineering, Security, Infrastructure, and Design to ensure platform decisions account for both system integrity and user experience.
Defining and monitoring outcomes related to reliability, security posture, developer efficiency, and scalability.
Partnering with Engineering to establish and operationalize platform KPIs, leveraging metrics to guide prioritization and identify gaps in capabilities and services.
