Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct aerodynamic design and simulations for Archer's eVTOL aircraft utilizing Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD).
- Perform aerodynamic shape optimizations for various components of Archer vehicles.
- Develop and uphold high-fidelity models for Archer's eVTOL aircraft.
- Create high-quality surfaces for Outer Mold Line (OML) definition.
- Validate CFD simulation results against lower-fidelity simulations, flight test data, and wind tunnel experiments.
- Assist in the aerodynamic vehicle design process throughout all project phases, from conceptualization to certification.
