About the Role
As a Technical Support Engineer, you will play a crucial role in assisting customers with HackerRank's products and platform. You will analyze and resolve intricate issues, collaborate closely with engineering and product teams, and empower customers to fully leverage the advantages of our technology. Your contributions will significantly enhance system reliability, alleviate user friction, and improve overall user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the HackerRank platform, including web applications, APIs, ATS integrations, and developer tools.
- Work in tandem with engineering teams to replicate issues, determine root causes, and confirm solutions.
- Assist customers with SSO (SAML/OIDC) and SCIM integration setups, primarily with Okta and other identity providers.
- Demonstrate exceptional ownership and communication skills, confidently engaging with customers through support tickets and live Zoom sessions.
Your Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a technical support or product support role within a SaaS environment.
- Proficient in debugging full-stack web applications and effectively utilizing developer tools.
- Knowledgeable in SQL, REST APIs, and familiar with tools such as Postman, Insomnia, or cURL.
- Basic coding skills in Python or Ruby for automation or simple data validation tasks.
- Comfortable using IDEs like VS Code, IntelliJ, or PyCharm for testing and debugging.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in HR technology, developer tools, or assessment platforms.
- Ability to create scripts and tools that streamline and standardize troubleshooting processes.
- Familiarity with AWS or GCP and observability tools such as New Relic.
