THE JOB As a per diem Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician, you will be at the forefront of emergency veterinary care, where swift action is critical. You will handle a variety of cases, from minor challenges to complex emergencies, collaborating closely with our veterinary doctors and team to provide compassionate, high-quality care. Your responsibilities will include triage, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing, all while offering emotional support to pet parents during their most challenging times. This role is ideal for a proactive individual eager to apply their training, enhance their skills, and make a substantial difference in the lives of pets and their owners. WHAT YOU’LL DO Treat every patient and their owner with respect and compassion—because they are our priority! Provide timely nursing care, treatments, and emotional support throughout the pet's journey, from initial triage to discharge. Administer medication and monitor patients effectively, including IVs, CRIs, and blood transfusions. Communicate effectively with your team, contributing to care plans and ensuring a seamless flow of services. Be prepared to perform CPR as a skilled RECOVER certified professional, with training provided and a strong team of RECOVER CPR experts.
