This role encompasses providing general labor for homes under construction and supporting the monitoring of each construction phase through inspections and coordination of tasks as guided by the Construction Manager.Key ResponsibilitiesEngage in training and hands-on experience across all construction phases, including:Conducting inspections of homes at various construction stages to assess workflow, quality, and progress.Coordinating schedules for subcontractors and tracking their work completion, including the management of materials, tools, and equipment.Serving as a communication link between subcontractors and construction management to ensure quality standards and report any arising issues.Performing minor repairs such as paint touch-ups, caulking, trim work, and checking appliances before pre-settlement inspections.Assisting in addressing customer service concerns by providing insights to the Construction Manager to enhance customer satisfaction.Managing access to homes (locking/unlocking).Utilizing software tools (Build Pro, Excel, Outlook, and Word) for project management.Meeting with inspectors and conducting walk-throughs with homeowners.Interpreting blueprints and construction plans.Additionally, the intern will maintain a clean and safe work environment, including debris removal and ensuring the cleanliness of homes. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
