Qualifications
Requirements: Covid-19 vaccination strongly preferred. Part-time/temporary employment. Compensation: $40.00 - $65.00 per hour (depending on experience). Key Responsibilities: Evaluate industrial sites for potential fire hazards and risks. Design and implement customized fire protection systems, including suppression, detection, and alarm mechanisms. Collaborate with consultants, architects, engineers, and facility managers to ensure seamless integration of fire protection in project designs and construction. Stay informed about the latest fire protection technologies, codes, and regulations to maintain compliance. Conduct hazard analyses and risk assessments, developing suitable mitigation strategies. Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, and schematics pertinent to fire protection systems. Offer technical guidance during the installation, testing, and commissioning phases of fire protection systems. Engage with regulatory bodies and insurance agencies to secure compliance, permits, and certifications. Perform inspections and audits to ensure the ongoing effectiveness of fire protection measures. Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.
