This individual will play a pivotal role in ensuring project schedules, quality standards, documentation, budget tracking, and communication are met from inception to completion.This position involves a balanced allocation of 50% field management and 50% administrative coordination.Key ResponsibilitiesField & Jobsite Management (50%):Oversee daily operations across multiple job sites.Demonstrate direct experience in site work, dirt work, and underground utilities.Coordinate necessary inspections, permits, utilities, and city interactions.Manage subcontractors while ensuring adherence to quality standards at every construction stage.Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites.Handle punch lists and warranty items effectively.Perform light carpentry tasks as required.Administrative, Financial & Coordination Responsibilities (50%):Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules.Approve invoices related to assigned projects promptly.Monitor and track budgets to prevent overruns.Complete daily logs using construction management software.Provide weekly written updates to clients.Present project progress in bi-weekly leadership meetings.Conduct material takeoffs and quantity checks accurately.Request bids, manage change order pricing, and confirm estimate accuracy.Maintain thorough photo documentation and tracking logs.Engage professionally with clients, trades, inspectors, and leadership.Utilize email, spreadsheets, and CMS platforms with confidence (experience with Construction Online/BuilderTrend/Adaptive/Procore is a plus).QualificationsMinimum of 10 years of construction experience.At least 2 years of experience as a Superintendent or a hybrid role involving Project Management and Superintendent responsibilities.Proven expertise in managing townhome, multifamily, and single-family residential builds.Strong hands-on background in dirt work and underground utilities.Ability to read construction plans, adhere to budgets, and proactively identify potential issues.Valid driver's license and dependable transportation are required.
