Position Overview:
We are in search of an accomplished Senior Cloud Architect / Infrastructure Lead to become a vital part of our dynamic team. This role blends strategic insight with hands-on technical leadership, perfect for a cloud-native specialist eager to design and scale exceptional infrastructure. You will be responsible for architecting systems capable of managing over 100,000 requests per second, leading a talented team of over 15 engineers, and formulating enterprise-grade messaging strategies in hybrid cloud and edge computing environments that are essential to our mission.
Your Responsibilities:
Cloud Architecture & Infrastructure Strategy
Design and advance a highly scalable microservices architecture that can efficiently process more than 100,000 requests per second.
Create a resilient infrastructure that integrates cloud and edge environments, accommodating dynamic workloads and real-time messaging.
Lead the design of fault-tolerant, enterprise-grade messaging systems characterized by strong SLAs and minimal latency.
Implement secure authentication protocols for edge devices, manage API keys, and ensure secure service communication.
Technical Leadership & Team Management
Guide and mentor a team of 15+ infrastructure and cloud engineers, ensuring high standards of delivery and engineering excellence.
Define infrastructure strategy across diverse cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), aligning it with business objectives and product development timelines.
Architect and sustain CI/CD pipelines for swift, secure deployments across multiple environments.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
Promote loose coupling and service-oriented architectures while advocating best practices for large-scale distributed systems.
Continuously analyze and enhance infrastructure for latency, throughput, and cost efficiency.
Collaborate with Robotics, AI, and Product teams to deliver robust and resilient platforms ready for real-world applications.
