About the Role
We are in search of a Senior Hardware Program Manager specializing in Manufacturing and Quality at Taara. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in leading manufacturing processes, manufacturing engineering, and quality assurance for high-volume production of Wireless Optical Communication (WOC) systems, essential for providing widespread and affordable internet.
This strategic leadership role involves overseeing product build planning, production, and shipping, while ensuring adherence to quality and performance specifications. You will develop, implement, and enforce robust quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) protocols throughout the production lifecycle.

Your Impact
Production Oversight: Supervise daily manufacturing operations, including production, scheduling, and resource allocation across diverse shifts or value streams. Ensure production capacity, layout, and equipment readiness to meet manufacturing objectives. Proactively assess and mitigate risks, crafting contingency plans to minimize production schedule disruptions.
Strategy & Planning: Formulate and implement long-term manufacturing strategies, including budget oversight, capacity planning, and capital expenditure proposals. Monitor and enhance Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), yield rates, and unit costs.
Quality Management: Establish and maintain a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring ISO compliance and industry-specific certifications as necessary. Design, review, and enforce testing protocols to assess raw materials, in-process production, and final products, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
