This engineer will be instrumental in evaluating the performance of autonomy systems at both the system and module levels, playing a pivotal role in guiding the technical direction of projects aimed at assessing autonomy features and autonomous driving capabilities.Your ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement the system validation strategy for various autonomy modules (perception, planning, prediction, localization) focused on Level 4 trucking.Create extensive and diverse datasets utilizing simulations and real-world data.Collaborate closely with systems engineering teams to develop validation test plans ensuring thoroughness and coverage across Operational Design Domain (ODD) and behavior.Develop statistical and machine learning models to analyze historical and simulation data for assessing safety performance.Identify, develop, and measure performance metrics, providing comprehensive reports on performance evaluations.Identify, construct, and deploy frameworks to enhance testing and validation processes.
