Role Overview:
We are on the lookout for a talented Simulation Engineer to become a vital part of our Autonomous Driving team. In this role, you will be instrumental in crafting and sustaining high-fidelity simulation environments essential for validating and verifying the performance of our autonomous driving solutions. Collaboration with diverse teams will be key to ensuring the reliability, scalability, and precision of our simulation tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and uphold high-fidelity simulation environments tailored for testing autonomous driving algorithms and software.
Implement realistic vehicle models, sensor frameworks, and environmental contexts within our simulation architecture.
Design and conduct simulation experiments to validate and confirm the efficiency of perception, planning, and control algorithms.
Collaborate with software engineers, robotics experts, and data scientists to seamlessly integrate simulation tools into the development workflow.
Analyze simulation outcomes and offer actionable insights to enhance the performance and reliability of autonomous driving systems.
Stay informed about the latest advancements in simulation technology and incorporate them into our development practices.
Qualifications:
Master's or Ph. D. in a relevant engineering discipline.
A minimum of 7 years of relevant industry experience.
Proficient programming skills in C/C++/Python or similar languages.
Expertise in simulation software such as Carla, CarSim, Simulink, or equivalent tools.
Strong understanding of self-driving technology stacks and cloud-based solutions.
