As the Process Owner for claims processing within the plant, you will be responsible for the meticulous recording, evaluation, and resolution of all claims. You will ensure the uninterrupted short-term delivery of production during claims, suggesting necessary measures, coordinating with specialized departments, and overseeing documentation processes including reworking, halting deliveries, and special releases. Your role will also include the selection, determination, and optimization of testing methods, materials, and apparatus for measurement and testing. When necessary, you will coordinate the procurement of these resources with the PPx team. You will be tasked with sending alerts to potentially impacted plants (Q alarm) and implementing quality assurance measures, including commissioning third-party tests or initiating their execution through PQT. Providing plant support is key, as you will instruct associates responsible for testing and assist them in troubleshooting issues. Additionally, you will log and validate defect costs, participate in production sampling as part of change management, and prepare and lead quality discussions within the plant. Drafting reports and documentation will also be an essential part of your responsibilities. Lastly, you will analyze quality-relevant data and apply lessons learned to new projects in collaboration with PPx.
