Key Responsibilities:Execute in-place upgrades from Windows Server 2016 to 2019 and/or 2022.Analyze Windows Server upgrade paths, edition compatibility, and licensing concerns.Identify and resolve pre-upgrade obstacles, including deprecated roles and applications.Investigate and troubleshoot setupact.log and setuperr.log issues.Confirm compatibility of .NET, PowerShell, and roles across different Windows Server versions.Validate system health post-upgrade, including services, roles, performance, and event logs.Manage VMware vSphere and virtual machine operations, including snapshots, disk space checks, and VMware Tools updates.Conduct Windows Upgrade Readiness checks and ensure application support for target OS.Establish backup validity and recovery options.Consider security and compliance risks, including TLS and antivirus compatibility.
