The Data Analyst role sits in Tel Aviv, within Honeycomb's R&D center. Analytics forms the backbone of daily operations and future AI projects here. The team treats analytics as a product, focusing on clear metrics, quality monitoring, and building data layers that serve both people and AI agents. The analytics infrastructure includes dashboards, Claude skills, and BigQuery models, all of which support business decisions and upcoming LLM integrations. What you will do Build the business-logic layer: Collaborate with the data engineer to create and maintain the gold/semantic layer in BigQuery. Translate business definitions into reusable SQL models that act as a single source of truth for Tableau, Claude skills, and ad-hoc analysis. Define and maintain metrics: Take responsibility for key performance indicators such as bind rate, quote rate, gross written premium (GWP), loss ratio, and funnel metrics. Ensure these definitions and their lineage remain current and accurate.
