About the Role
We are on the lookout for a Web Development Team Lead to take charge of our global, multilingual marketing website powered by WordPress. This pivotal role bridges marketing, branding, and technology, ensuring optimal website performance, scalability, and reliability across diverse regions and languages. As a hands-on leader, you will guide a small team of developers, contribute to coding efforts, and establish the technical strategy for our marketing web platform. Collaborating closely with Marketing, Design, and external partners, you will deliver an exceptional digital experience while continuously enhancing the technical capabilities of your team.
What You'll Be Doing
Technical Ownership & Delivery
- Oversee the global marketing website from inception to completion: architecture, performance, security, scalability, and reliability.
- Design, develop, and maintain WordPress sites utilizing Bedrock and Sage, adhering to Laravel-based architecture principles.
- Create and manage custom Gutenberg blocks and reusable components.
- Lead the technical planning and implementation of new features, integrations, and growth experiments.
- Optimize site performance, SEO, accessibility, and Core Web Vitals.
- Ensure high availability through regular monitoring, maintenance, and incident response.
Team Leadership & Growth
- Direct and mentor a web development team (minimum of 3 years of experience required).
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and technical improvement within the team.
