Oscar Health is hiring a Team Lead for Member and Provider Services in Tempe, Arizona. This position supports our mission to deliver thoughtful, technology-enabled health insurance service.
Role Overview
The Team Lead plays a key role in guiding support staff, optimizing workflows, and meeting performance goals. This position works closely with the Manager of Member and Provider Services. The Team Lead coaches team members, monitors KPIs, and partners with stakeholders to improve operational efficiency.
Work Environment
This is a hybrid role based in our Tempe office. Three days per week in-office are required, with Thursdays dedicated to team meetings and events. The other two in-office days can be chosen to fit your schedule.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary range: $55,890 - $73,355 per year. Oscar offers employee benefits, eligibility for annual performance bonuses, and access to an unlimited vacation program.
Main Responsibilities
- Recruit and manage a high-performing team, including performance management, professional development, and HR tasks.
- Track team performance, analyze KPIs, and create action plans to address operational challenges.
- Stay informed about daily team activities to support volume-based decisions and strong customer service.
- Lead team huddles, communicate Oscar's mission and values, and motivate staff to reach operational goals.
- Foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture aligned with Oscar's core values.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to boost team performance.
- Spot and address gaps in operational workflows.
- Work with other departments to implement best practices.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Handle other related duties as assigned.
