Position Overview:The Senior Director of Talent Performance and Strategy serves as the pivotal architect of Unitek Learning’s talent framework. This strategic role is responsible for designing, integrating, and governing systems that delineate organizational capabilities, ensuring that these definitions are directly linked to performance outcomes, development initiatives, and growth trajectories. Operating horizontally across the enterprise, this role possesses the authority to establish standards, align processes, and collaborate with senior leadership across various campuses and functions. The director will work closely with Capability and Enablement leaders to leverage talent data informing development strategy and investment.Key Responsibilities:Ownership of Talent Architecture and FrameworkLead the evolution of enterprise competency frameworks for staff, leaders, faculty, and campus presidents.Define and uphold clarity around skills, proficiency expectations, and role specifications throughout the organization.Ensure frameworks are practical, behavior-focused, and user-friendly for managers.Management of Enterprise Talent Systems and TechnologyOversee the design, configuration, and continuous improvement of enterprise talent management technologies that facilitate performance reviews, goal-setting, competency assessments, and development planning.Transform talent strategies and process needs into scalable, user-friendly system configurations.Develop, launch, and enhance digital workflows that support quarterly check-ins, annual reviews, and ongoing feedback mechanisms.Act as the primary product owner for talent management platforms, overseeing roadmap planning, release management, testing, and user adoption.Collaborate with HRIS, IT, and external vendors to implement system enhancements, integrations, and data standards that bolster usability and reporting.Utilize system data and user insights to refine processes, reduce obstacles, and enhance overall effectiveness and user adoption.Integration of Performance and DevelopmentEnsure competencies are seamlessly integrated into performance review processes.Transform performance insights into actionable development pathways.Work with Capability and Enablement teams to align learning investments with identified capability gaps.Career Pathways and Mobility DesignCreate career pathways and progression frameworks that foster internal mobility and retention.Establish consistent role leveling and growth expectations across campuses and functions.Empower managers to facilitate meaningful career conversations with their teams.Governance and Alignment Across the EnterpriseAct as the chief governance advocate, ensuring all talent systems align with organizational compliance and auditing standards.
